Preview: Fila Vintage for Spring/Summer 2014

Fila launched it's first tennis collection in 1973, the Fila White Line - and it's really this which forms the basis of the iconic Fila Vintage Retro Sportswear Collection. Summer 2014 will be no different, with all your favourite Fila styles back in new colours. Fila revolutionised sportswear in the Seventies, introducing new, bold colours and iconic design. It quickly became the clothing of choice particularly among Italy's playboys and discerning sports men and women.

To kick things off, here is the famous Fila Match Polo in classic 70s colours - Gardenia - the shade of off white-cream which Fila used most often in place of a bright white, with Retro themed blue, navy and red.

Check under the cut to preview more coming soon.

Second only to the Terrinda Jacket, the Fila Vintage Setanta 'Match Day' Track Top is the most famous Fila Vintage jacket. Limited edition Mint is a highlight this season, and the jacket will also be available in traditional Peacoat Navy and a cool Sky blue for spring.

Too warm for a full jacket? Check out the Fila Vintage zip through cardigan, 'Fearknot' and fear not - just the thing to throw on after that first game of tennis!

Five times Wimbledon champion, Bjorn Borg is perhaps the most famous Fila wearer. Here's the BB Borg Polo, characterised by its pin stripe and contrast collar with thin press stud placket. This seasons colours include traditional red, sky blue (pictured) and limited edition Mint.
